TOTEM press visit to the tunnels of the future Line 15 South of the Paris metro
TOTEM is deploying the latest-generation 5G on the future Line 15 South for all operators. A large-scale industrial project, illustrating TOTEM’s expertise in the indoor mobile coverage market.
“Emission points, infrastructures equipped with four relay antennas, are installed every 200 to 350 metres depending on requirements. All this equipment is linked together by fibre-optic highways,” explains Thierry Papin, CEO of TOTEM France.
“Ultimately, the ambition is to bring very high-speed mobile broadband to the entire network. The network will be 200 kilometres long and will serve 68 new stations, requiring the installation of no fewer than 5,000 relay antennas,” says Thierry Montalant, head of the digital unit at the Société des grands projets.
